So i need true legal advice and this is about houseing contracts and signing.?

so i moved to colorado from indiana..i moved in and that same day i went and payed rent..they told me i need to get on the lease and be approved.so i called and told them and the girl roomates didnt care..i was ther alone for three weeks and they did nothing.then they moved in .i couldnt get a job and i couldnt pay rent so i moved out...i neever signed a lease but in order to get out of the house peacfully the girls made me promise to pay 175 until they found a new rommie. .makes no sence since i moved out cause i couldnt afford it..one girl rote soemthing out on notbook paper.so i signed it thinking it wouldnt hold up in court or anything l...now they are threating to take me to court ..do they have case considering they were behind on getting me on the lease.i was there for a month without being it so they got fined...but this is not my fault..i told them.they ddint care..so since im not on a actual lease and i live in indiana again,...will anything happen,..parden my typing im speedy typo
