Born agains and Evangelicals: Do you think Jesus will show mercy to the people he is torturing in hell???

Jesus will not torture anyone and it is not his fault that people will not be saved. Also, there are many differing views of hell, what if it is simply, you die, you realize you were wrong and you are eternally seperated from God and you know what lies with him? That would also be hell, would it not? We all have a choice to make, I have made mine and you have/will make yours. Besides, laying the heaven and hell thing aside, what is so bad about living a life where you are taught you should love one another, and forgiveness? Christianity at its basics is a beautiful thing. I know that there are many who proclaim their faith and don't live by it. For those, I apologize. For the rest of us, we simply hope and pray that others see that in us.
