Can I drive my car without coolant?

My Ford Puma leaks coolant when I park from the right side of the bonnet. Am i ok to drive for a few days if keep topping up with coolant to make sure it runs through the engine? I need to take it to a garage but can't take time off work till weds.I dont want it to break down on the m6? Please advise?!?!
