"Ask a Question" fairness?

The negative points are for several reasons. The biggest is that it prevents autoposting spammers, scammers, and kings from flooding the site with new accounts. If you gave them points, there would be no way to stop them. Also, the plus points for answers is to encourage answers. There is no problem getting questions. In fact if you got points for asking the board would be filled with "2+2=?" questions. Users would ask nonsense just to get the points. There are some users that think there is still too much nonsense asked and the 2 points deficit for asking should be increase to 5 or 10. But the big reason is to control the spammer and others.
