Serious answers only please, friends cancer.?

a friend has cancer outside the lung ,also bone cancer in her thigh also cancer is in her bodily fluids if i am understanding what she is telling me. is there anybody[doctor]etc who can give some advice she has been told by her doctor[gp] that she needs kemo, but the hospital specialist has told her just to take a certain tablet to strengthen her bones.. im afraid i don't know the name of the tablet but it seems to me they have just given up on her.any advice would be appreciated. thanks. [ie] can she demand to see a different specialist,hospital administrators or clinical dean. thanks any help would be appreciated.
