Why is your computer on? Why are you not conserving energy?

I'm generating my own electricity with solar panels. The fact that I'm using a laptop instead of a desktop is conserving energy. I'm also wearing a sweater because my thermostat is down to 65 degrees. There are differences between conservation, use and waste. I do my best not to waste and have made many changes to conserve, but I will still use electricity.
