Where can i find a reliable source to find out how the covenant of Abraham affected Abraham, Isaac, and Joseph?

I am taking a Bible cl, and not only am I required to use the Bible as a resource, but two other scholarly sources as well. Can someone tell me where i can find sources on the internet to find out how Abraham's covenant with God affected him, Isaac, and Joseph? I need the answer as soon as possible as the ignment is due by the end of next week.
